Air Malta lifts Russian capacity

Air Malta will increase capacity on Russian routes by 50% this summer, operating 92 additional flights to its Russian destinations.

The airline is lifting capacity on its services to St Petersburg, and Moscow's Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports.

During peak time, Air Malta will operate an average of seven weekly flights to Domodedovo, two weekly flights to Sheremetyevo and three weekly flights to St Petersburg. Air Malta codeshares on its flights to Moscow Sheremetyevo with Aeroflot.

In 2012, Air Malta carried 50,000 passengers on Russian routes.
