Air New Zealand has announced a new executive structure that will serve under chief executive designate Christopher Luxon from 1 January 2013.

The airline has named Rob McDonald as chief financial officer, David Morgan as chief flight operations and safety officer and Mike Tod as chief marketing and customer officer.

In addition, ANZ has named Stephen Jones as chief strategy and planning officer. The carrier has yet to name its chief operations officer, chief commercial officer, and chief people officer.

In the meantime, all functions of the business will be covered by the existing executive management team, the airlines says.
