Air New Zealand (ANZ) has posted 3.5% year-on-year growth in overall passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, for November.
The airline carried 1.05 million passengers in November, a rise of 0.1% from the same period last year.
The airline's short-haul RPKs increased by 1.5%, while its long-haul RPKs grew by 5.3%, compared with the corresponding month last year.
The carrier's short-haul passenger numbers decreased by 0.2% to 933,000, while its long-haul passenger numbers rose by 2.7% to 112,000.
Its total capacity, as measured by ASKs, grew by 3.5% year on year, with a rise of 4.8% in short-haul capacity and growth of 2.4% in long-haul capacity.
The carrier's overall passenger load factor fell by 0.1 percentage point to 81.4%.
ANZ's short-haul passenger load factor declined by 2.8 percentage points to 83.2% and long-haul passenger load factor rose by 2.2 percentage points to 79.9% respectively.
