Fijian flag carrier Air Pacific took delivery of its second Airbus A330-300 aircraft on 23 May.
The aircraft, which will replace leased Boeing 747-400s, will be put into service on 3 June to Sydney. The carrier received its first A330 in March.
In addition, the airline took delivery of its first Boeing 737 rebranded with the new Fiji Airways livery and design on 24 May. It will receive another rebranded 737 in June, and complete the upgrading and rebranding of its four 737s by September, says the carrier.
Air Pacific will return to its 1951 name - Fiji Airways - as the airline enters the final phase of its rebranding and restructuring this year. The full rebranding is due to be completed by end 2013.
