Fijian carrier Air Pacific expects to relaunch with its old name, Fiji Airways, in June.
As part of its relaunch, the carrier will receive three Airbus A330-200 aircraft in March, May and November respectively. The aircraft will replace the two Boeing 747-400s in its fleet, chief executive Dave Pflieger tells Flightglobal.
Pflieger, however, declined to comment on the airline's future fleet plan.
"While we do not comment on future fleet plans, we are thrilled at the results of our financial turnaround and rebranding thus far, and we are excited [about] the introduction of our new A330s," he adds.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows that Air Pacific operates two 747-400 aircraft, and four 737-700 and -800 aircraft.
