AirAsia has mandated KfW IPEX-Bank for the financing of two upcoming Airbus A320 deliveries.

The German bank is the arranger, agent and security trustee of a finance lease structure covering the two aircraft. Helaba is a participant on the debt tranche.

The two aircraft, MSN 4571 and 4582, are equipped with CFM56-5B6/3 engines, and are scheduled for delivery later this year.

AirAsia says it has all 2011 A320 deliveries committed. The group has eight aircraft to take delivery of this year including four for its Malaysian operation, two for its Indonesian operation and the remaining two for its Thai operation.
