AirAsia Philippines will be starting commercial services on 28 March, about two months after receiving its air operator's certificate.

It will be operating twice daily Clark-Davao and Clark-Kalibo services using Airbus A320s, said the airline in a statement.

The services will be operated out of its base at the Diosdado Macapagal international airport in Clark.

AirAsia Philippines will be competing with Airphil Express on both routes.
