AirAsia Zest has filed an application with the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) for additional entitlements on services between the Philippines and Macau.

The low-cost carrier is seeking additional 720 weekly seats to Macau, which is equivalent to a four-times-weekly service operated on an 180-seat aircraft, says the CAB.

A hearing will be held on 16 July on the airline’s application, it adds.

Innovata schedules show that AirAsia Zest now operates a thrice weekly Manila-Macau service, in competion with Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines.
