Latvian carrier AirBaltic has appointed Skytech-AIC, on an exclusive basis, to assist with the procurement of up to six Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

AirBaltic recently placed a conditional order for 10 Bombardier CS300 aircraft with first deliveries in 2015 and the additional Boeing 737s are required to provide interim capacity until the delivery of the new technology aircraft.

"We are delighted that AirBaltic has once again put their trust in Skytech-AIC to assist them with their fleet development plans," says Skytech-AIC's Richard Noble.

Earlier this summer AirBaltic leased a 1999-vintage 737-300 aircraft from Oak Hill Advisors in a transaction managed by Santos Dumont.
