Airbus keeps Evrard at helm of A350 programme

Airbus has confirmed that Didier Evrard will continue to lead the A350 programme, following the restructuring of the airframer's executive committee under new chief Fabrice Bregier.

Bregier begins a five-year term as chief executive with John Leahy staying as chief operating officer for customers, while Guenter Butschek becomes chief operating officer.

Tom Williams remains executive vice-president of programmes. Charles Champion is executive vice-president of engineering and Domingo Urena-Raso heads Airbus Military.

Airbus's executive committee also includes Harald Wilhelm, who succeeds Hans-Peter Ring as chief financial officer of parent EADS, as well as human resources chief Thierry Baril and procurement head Klaus Richter.
