David Walton has resigned as chief operating officer and general counsel of lessor Aircastle, though he will remain with the company until a replacement is found.
“Dave has been a great teammate and played an important role in Aircastle's development over the years and we wish him much success in his future endeavours,” says Ron Wainshal, chief executive of the Stamford, Connecticut-based lessor, in a statement. “We have a talented and deep team that is ready to step up and allow the Company to continue to succeed.”
Walton joined Aircastle as general counsel in 2005. He has been chief operating officer since 2006.
He was previously a partner at the law firm Perkins Cole.
