Operating lessor Aircastle has sold a 1989-vintage Boeing 767-300ER aircraft that was financed through the lessor’s ACS 2007-1 pass through trust certificates.
The lessor acted as remarketing agent in the transaction. The aircraft was on lease to Icelandair and was last operated by Air Nuigini, according to Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database.
Rating agency Moody’s says the sale will not result in a reduction, withdrawal, or placement under review for possible downgrade of the ratings currently assigned to any outstanding series of certificates issued by the pass through trust.
In September Aircastle sold a 1990-vintage 767-300ER that was previously operated by Belgium’s Jetairfly.
