China Southern Airlines has signed agreements with several suppliers for its aircraft.
The Guangzhou-based carrier signed memorandums of understanding with Honeywell Aerospace for the supply of aircraft electronic equipment and with Hubei Jiatai Aircraft Equipment for new seats equipped with in-flight entertainment (IFE).
The carrier, however, did not specify which aircraft will feature the new seats from Hubei Jiatai.
Thales and Rockwell Collins will supply avionics equipment for the carrier's fleet of 16 Airbus A330 aircraft.
EADS Sogerma, meanwhile, will supply the carrier with business class seats for its Boeing 777-300ER fleet.
The business class seat will have a 1.93m (75.9in) length when transformed into a lie-flat bed, individual access to the aisle and a 15in individual IFE, adds the airline.
