Alaska Air Group today announced recording a consolidated 9.3% increase in traffic year-over-year during February.
The group's capacity grew 5.7% in February, while load factors increased by 2.7 percentage points to 83.7%.
Revenue passenger numbers grew 7.5% year on year to 1.9 million.
Consolidated results include flights operated by Alaska Air, Horizon Air and Alaska's new regional partner SkyWest.
Alaska Airlines recorded a 9.7% gain in mainline traffic year-over-year for February as capacity increased 5.7%. Its passenger load factor increased 3 percentage points to 84.5%.
Horizon Air's traffic declined 11.9% while its capacity dropped 11.3%, said the company. Its passenger load factor also decreased 0.5 percentage points to 76.5%.
