Alaska Airlines has selected Recaro economy and premium class seats for its outstanding Boeing 737-900ER orders.
The 22 aircraft are to be delivered from autumn this year until 2014, says the German seat manufacturer.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, the US carrier currently operates 12 737-900s along with 77 737-700s and -800s.
However, only the 737-900s that have yet to be delivered will be furnished with the BL3520 economy and CL4400 premium class seats.
This is Recaro's first sale for the lightweight economy class seat in the United States.
