Alaska Air Group has reported an 8.5% rise in traffic in October compared to the same month in 2011.
The group's capacity rose 5.3%, while the load factor increased 2.5 percentage points to 84.5%. Its passenger numbers grew 5.3% year-on-year to 2.1 million.
Alaska Airlines reported an 8.5% increase in traffic year-on-year in October while passenger numbers increased 4% to 1.47 million.
The airline's capacity grew 5.1% in October, while the load factor increased 2.6 percentage points to 85.2%.
Horizon Air's traffic increased by 7.9%, while capacity grew by 8.1% in October.
The regional airline's load factor fell 0.1 percentage points to 77.6%. Horizon carried 573,000 passengers, which is up 7.5% compared with the same month last year.
Alaska says that only 38 flights were cancelled as a result of superstorm Sandy.
