Air New Zealand has signed long-term leases with Air Lease covering five Airbus A320neo family aircraft for delivery in 2017 and 208
The first aircraft, an A320neo, will be delivered in August 2017, followed by an A320neo a month later, says the aircraft lessor. The other aircraft follow in 2018
“We are pleased to extend our excellent relationship with Air New Zealand to include the lease of these new fuel efficient A320neo family aircraft,” says ALC executive vice president Grant Levy.
The Star Alliance carrier in June announced an order for 10 A320neos and three A321neos for delivery between 2017 and 2019.
Air New Zealand already operate 22 A320s and Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows ALC owns two of Air New Zealand A320s as well as a single Boeing 777-300ER.
