Alcoa unit appoints new president

Alcoa has promoted Michael A. Pepper to president, Alcoa Power and Propulsion (APP), which provides parts used in aircraft engines.

Pepper, a 24 year veteran in the aerospace market, succeeds Raymond B. Mitchell.

He began his career with Alcoa Howmet and was appointed to his most recent position of vice president, business excellence.
