All Nippon Airways domestic passenger traffic flat in October

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) has posted 0.7% growth in domestic passenger traffic as measured in RPKs for October, compared with the same period in 2011.

The airline's domestic passenger capacity as measured in ASKs grew by 2.2%, while its domestic passenger numbers rose by 1.3% to 3.58 million. The domestic passenger load factor for October was 66.2%.

On international routes, the airline's RPKs increased by 5.8%. The carrier's international passenger capacity as measured in ASKs rose by 8.4% and its passenger numbers fell by 6% to 463,000 in October. The international load factor for the month was 71.6%.

The volume of international cargo carried by the airline in October rose by 14.3% to 49,200t, while its domestic cargo volume grew by 0.1% to 42,500t.
