All Nippon Airways domestic traffic up 4% in August

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways' (ANA) domestic traffic, as measured in RPKs, increased by 3.5% year on year in August.

Total domestic passenger numbers rose by 3.2% to 3.95 million, while the domestic passenger load factor stood at 68.8%, says the Star Alliance member.

In terms of international traffic, the airline's RPKs went up by 7.7%, while its load factor was at 83.3% and passenger numbers rose by 0.2% to 630,000.

The volume of international cargo carried by the airline increased by 9.5% to 47,600t, while domestic cargo volumes climbed by 2.4% to 40,700t.
