Allegiant Air is launching twice weekly flights between Los Angeles International airport and Provo Municipal airport in Utah effective 26 September, the Las Vegas-based airline announces.
Allegiant president Andrew Levy notes in a media release that the airline has been pleased with the performance of its other nonstop flights from Provo - to Oakland in California and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport in Arizona. He says the airline has also been pleased with the sale of related travel packages.
"We are confident the community will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to Los Angeles and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together," Levy says in the media release.
Allegiant, the only carrier at Provo, flies from the city to three destinations including Los Angeles. The airline began flying twice weekly between Provo and Phoenix-Mesa on 15 February and twice weekly between Provo and Oakland on 7 June.
