Australia's Alliance Aviation has extended its fly-in fly-out (FIFO) contracts with two mining companies, Incitec Pivot and MMG.
Its contract with Incitec will be extended for another five years, till 2017, while services for MMG will be extended by another 18 months, said the carrier in an Australian Securities Exchange statement. The contracts with the two companies began in 2002.
For Incitec, Alliance operates eight weekly services between Phosphate Hill and Townsville.
For MMG, it operates eight weekly services on the Cairns-Lawn Hill route and 12 weekly services on the Townsville-Lawn Hill route.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online Fleets database shows the carrier has one Boeing 737-400, six Fokker 50 turboprops, five Fokker 70s and 17 Fokker 100 aircraft in service.
