Maintenance, repair and overhaul firm Ameco Beijing and Chinese cargo carrier Great Wall Airlines have signed a deal for heavy maintenance work on two Boeing 747-400 freighters.
Under the agreement, Ameco Beijing will perform one C-check on one aircraft and one D-check on the other, says the MRO company.
The first aircraft will arrive at Ameco Beijing's facility in early May, and the other will arrive in mid-July, it adds.
Ameco Beijing is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa. Great Wall Airlines, based in Shanghai, operates a fleet of three 747-400Fs. China Eastern Airlines' parent holds a majority stake in Great Wall.
