Ameco Beijing, a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, has completed a winglet modification on a Condor Airlines Boeing 767-300ER, the first time it has completed such a modification.

The Beijing maintenance, repair and overhaul firm says it has a contract to do the modification work on nine of Condor's 767-300ERs.

It says the first modification was done in conjunction with a 'C-check', fail safe strap and cabin modification.

Condor is a large German leisure carrier.
