The Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) has come to a tentative labour agreement with American Eagle Airlines regarding its maintenance and related employees, and ground instructors.
The union says that its members will vote on the tentative agreements within the next two weeks. It expects to have the final results by 19 October.
The maintenance and related workgroup includes about 1,300 employees while an additional 10 work as ground instructors.
Last month, American Eagle filed a motion to reject its contracts with the TWU-represented maintenance, dispatch and ground school instructor groups. It said that it planned to continue negotiations with the union. The maintenance and related workgroup had voted 65% against the airline's last, best and final offer on 24 August.
