Eagle is ending service on two flights from Dallas Love
Field only four months after gaining the right to launch operations at that airport.
American Airlines feeder after September 5 says it will no longer serve two
destinations – St. Louis and San Antonio – from Love Field. However, service
will be doubled to two other cities Kansas City
to four daily non-stops each, American Airlines spokesman says.

routes, he says. The airline currently schedules five daily round-trip flights between
Love Field and St. Louis
and three daily round-trips to San Antonio.
airline began service from Love Field in March after flight restrictions from
the airport were relaxed by the US Congress.
Airlines had described its March 2 return to Love Field as an attempt to
control market share even if the tactic results in financial losses. .
Airlines currently operates about 90% of the flights from Love Field, which is an
alternative to the Dallas/Fort Worth International
