All Nippon Airways (ANA) confirmed it has launched new codeshares with its Star Alliance partners on 30 March.
The carrier added its code on the Istanbul-Abu Dhabi and Istanbul-Bahrain services operated by Turkish Airlines, and on the Paris Orly-Lisbon and Paris Orly-Porto services operated by TAP Portugal, says ANA’s spokesman.
It also added its code on Lufthansa-operated services. This covers services from Frankfurt to Palermo, Dusseldorf to Gothenburg and Manchester, and from Munich to Birmingham, Manchester, Bremen, Leipzig, Muenster, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Oslo and Tokyo Haneda.
Lufthansa placed its code on ANA-operated domestic services from Tokyo Haneda to Akita, Fukuoka, Hakodate, Hiroshima, Kochi, Komatsu, Kumamoto, Matusuyama, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Oita, Okayama, Okinawa, Osaka Itami, Sapporo, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Toyama and Yamaguchi-Ube. Internationally, the codeshare also covers the Tokyo Narita-Dusseldorf and Tokyo Haneda-Munich services.
The spokesman adds Air Canada and United Airlines added their codes on two services operated by the Japanese carrier. Air Canada codeshares on the Tokyo Haneda-Vancouver route, while United codeshares on the Fukuoka-Okinawa route.
