ANA domestic passenger traffic down 0.3% in September

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) posted a 0.3% decline in domestic passenger traffic for September, as measured in RPKs, compared with the same period last year.

The airline's domestic passenger capacity, as measured by ASKs, fell by 1%, while its domestic passenger numbers rose by 0.5% to 3.41 million. The domestic passenger load factor in September was 66.5%.

On international routes, the airline's RPKs increased by 13%. The carrier's international passenger capacity as measured in ASKs rose by 10.3% and its passenger numbers grew by 5.1% to 526,000 in September. The international load factor for the month was 78.5%.

The volume of international cargo carried by the airline in September rose by 11.6% to 47,300t, while its domestic cargo volume fell by 4.7% to 39,400t.
