Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) witnessed a 6% decline in domestic passenger traffic in November, compared with the same period a year earlier.
Domestic capacity, as measured in ASKs, fell by 3.2%, while total passenger numbers declined by 5.8% to 3.21 million, said the Star Alliance member. This resulted in a domestic load factor of 64.9%.
On international routes, ANA's RPKs increased by 7.3%, ASKs grew by 7.4% and passenger numbers increased by 12.8% to 494,000 resulting in a load factor of 74.5% for the month.
The volume of international cargo carried by the airline decreased marginally by 0.3% to 45,500 tonnes, while domestic cargo volume shrank by 1.2% to 40,300 tonnes.
