ANA domestic passenger traffic up 12.8% in May

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) posted a 12.8% growth in domestic RPKs in May compared with the same period last year.

Its domestic capacity, measured in ASKs, grew by 7.6%, while total passenger numbers increased by 14.2% to 3.11 million. The domestic load factor in May is 58.9%.

On international routes, the airline's RPKs increased by 21.9%, while ASKs rose by 9.2% and passenger numbers grew by 24.6% to 545,000 in May. The load factor for the month is 76.6%.

The volume of international cargo carried by the airline in May rose by 7.1% to 43,600t, while domestic cargo volume grew by 5.6% to 36,300t.
