ANA domestic passenger traffic up 4.7% in July

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) posted 4.7% growth for domestic passenger traffic in July, as measured in RPKs, compared with the same period last year.

The airline's domestic passenger capacity, as measured in ASKs, grew by 6%, while its total passenger numbers rose by 5% to 3.27 million. The domestic passenger load factor in July was 58.6%.

On international routes, the airline's RPKs increased by 9.8%. The carrier's ASKs rose by 8% and its passenger numbers grew by 11.6% to 566,000 in July. The international load factor for the month was 76.8%.

The volume of international cargo carried by the airline in July rose by 2.7% to 43,500t, while its domestic cargo volume declined by 5% to 40,900t.
