Japanese operator All Nippon Airways (ANA) inked a 10-year deal for Pratt & Whitney's engine management program covering 80 of the carrier's engines, including spares.

The pact includes on-wing engine performance monitoring for the airline's 30 Boeing 777 aircraft powered by PW4000 engines.

P&W says its advanced diagnostics and engine management tools enhance the ability to forecast engine health and maintenance through detailed analysis of engine data, resulting in greater reliability, operational performance and lower maintenance costs.
