All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to deploy Boeing 787s on services from Tokyo Narita to Munich, Seattle and Singapore from September.

The 787s will replace Boeing 777-300ERs used on the daily services to Munich and Seattle, and the Boeing 767-300ER used on one of the two daily services to Singapore, says the Star Alliance member.

Changes to the Munich, Seattle and Singapore services will occur on 1 and 20 September, and 1 October respectively.

On 30 September, the airline will begin deploying the 777-300ERs on Tokyo Narita-Shanghai Pudong services. The aircraft will replace the 767-300ER used on one of its three daily frequencies.

In addition, ANA will double the Tokyo Narita-Chicago service to twice daily on 1 September, using 777-300ER aircraft.

"The increase in 787 flights is part of an international expansion plan that will also see ANA double the number of flights between Narita and Chicago to 14 [times] a week to meet the growth in demand for connections between Asia and North America," the airline adds.
