New York's Apple Bank stepped up funds for Avolon's first export credit agency (ECA) supported financing.

Natixis Transport Finance arranged the deal.

The $65 million transaction, which covers two Airbus A320 aircraft on lease to Avianca, is a refinancing as the assets were delivered before the ECA process closed.

With the first ECA deal now under its belt, Avolon said it hoped to close more such financings on future aircraft transactions.
