Apple Bank funds new AWAS A320

AWAS has closed financing on a new Airbus A320 aircraft with an export credit agency-supported loan provided by New York's Apple Bank of Savings.

Natixis was the arranger of the transaction.

The aircraft, MSN 5367, is the last A320 aircraft on operating lease to Royal Jordanian Airlines.

Royal Jordanian agreed to lease seven new A320 family aircraft from AWAS in early 2011 as part of a major fleet renewal programme. The carrier has taken delivery of five A320s and two A321s from the lessor.
