The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) ARJ21 regional jet has completed cold weather tests in Inner Mongolia.

Aircraft 103, one of four in the ARJ21 test fleet, completed a 3h 50min flight in Hailaer in Inner Mongolia on 8 January, says Comac.

The aircraft's systems performed well during the test flight, it adds.

Comac is aiming to deliver the first ARJ21 to launch operator Chengdu Airlines by the end of this year, following several delays to the programme.
