ASL Aviation Group has selected Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) to provide 11-pallet configuration freighter conversions on three Boeing 737-400 passenger aircraft acquired from Qantas.

The CFM56-3C1 powered aircraft are high gross weight 737-400s built between 1990 and 1993.

All three aircraft will undergo freighter modification at AEI's authorised conversion centre, Commercial Jet, which is located in Miami, Florida.

This contract marks the first time AEI has been commissioned by ASL Aviation Group.
