Atlas Air has signed an agreement with Hong Kong’s BST Logistics for Boeing 747-8 freighter service.
Under the aircraft, crews, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) agreement, Atlas will fly one 747-8 freighter for BST Logistics starting in February. The contract covers routes linking the USA, Europe and Asia.
“BST Logistics is an important addition to our portfolio of ACMI customers,” says William Flynn, president and chief executive of the airline’s parent company Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings. “We are pleased that it has chosen Atlas Air to operate parts of its long-haul route network.”
Atlas Air operates three 747-8 freighters, Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows.
