Turboprop manufacturer ATR received 11 firm orders in the first half of 2012, compared with 84 in the same period last year.
The airframer nevertheless offset the much-quieter period, in terms of orders, by achieving higher deliveries. It handed over 22 aircraft, up from 17.
EADS disclosed the details in its six-month financial results.
ATR's backlog at the end of the first half stood at 213 aircraft, it adds. The airframer has recently secured European approval for its latest product, the ATR 42-600.
