ATR's asset management operation recorded 29 cash sales of second-hand aircraft last year, matching the 2009 figure.

The level is more than double that achieved in each of the three years from 2006-08.

During a briefing in Paris today, ATR stated that the sales demonstrated "strong residual value" of its turboprops.

Chief executive Filippo Bagnato says the transactions have left ATR with a "very limited number of second-hand aircraft".
