Auckland International Airport is considering a NZ$100 million ($82.1 million) bond issue.

The airport says it expects to release the full details of the unsecured, unsubordinated fixed rate bond offer in the first week of December and is asking for preliminary expressions of interest.

The fixed rate bonds are expected to have a maturity period of seven years.
