Boeing is hopeful of securing a contract to demonstrate its A/MH-6X manned/unmanned light helicopter for a US military customer following the debut flight of the first of two company-funded aircraft. The A/MH-6X is a production-standard version of Boeing's Unmanned Little Bird technology demonstrator, and is based on the A/MH-6M Mission Enhanced Little Bird flown by US Army special forces. Assembly of the second aircraft has already been completed in Mesa, Arizona.
