Australian regional carrier Brindabella Airlines is launching a service next month linking the northern New South Wales town of Moree with Brisbane.
The airline's owner and CEO, Jeffrey Boyd, says they aim to launch the five-times-weekly non-stop scheduled service from Brisbane to Moree on 5 July.
Brindabella is a small regional carrier that operates BAe Jetstream 41s and Fairchild Metro IIIs for its scheduled services. It also has other smaller aircraft types for its charter operations.
No airlines presently operate on the Brisbane-Moree route says Innovata.
"Currently the only options for travelling between Brisbane and Moree are a gruelling six hours drive or a flight via Sydney - making our 1hr direct flight a highly desirable option," says Boyd.
