Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has contracted UK-based aviation and airworthiness safety specialist AVISA to deliver training in new regulations to its officials.

Avisa will develop training materials and deliver training courses to CASA's assessment team, to bring them up to speed on Australia's new Parts 42, 66, 145 and 147 regulations. These relate to continuing airworthiness and maintenance requirements.

Avisa will undertake the work at CASA's Brisbane and Canberra offices.
