Australia’s Skywest traffic up 29.7% in September

Australia's regional carrier Skywest Airlines has posted 29.7% year-on-year growth in passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, in September.

The carrier says that the number of passengers it carried grew by 9.5% to 36,000, compared with the same period last year.

Passenger capacity, as measured in ASKs, increased by 29.3%, while its passenger load factor grew by 0.21 percentage points to 62.2%, says Skywest.
