Australia’s Skywest traffic up 31.9% in August

Australia's regional carrier Skywest Airlines posted 31.9% year-on-year growth in passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, in August.

The carrier says that the number of passengers it carried grew by 10.9% to 37,000, compared with the same period last year.

Passenger capacity, as measured in ASKs, increased by 39.1%, while its passenger load factor fell by 3.32 percentage points to 61%, Skywest said in a statement.
