Austrian names Hafenscher VP of corporate controlling

Austrian Airlines Group has appointed Stefan Hafenscher as vice-president of corporate controlling, in succession to Wolfgang Henle who is moving to become managing director of Austrian Technik in Bratislava.

Since 2002, Hafenscher worked as a group controller at Austrian Airlines and later he was appointed as director controlling ground operations. In 2009, he was asked to serve in the team coordinating the integration of the company in the Lufthansa Group.

In 2010, he was appointed director controlling operations after participating in an internal programme for the advancement of junior executives.
