Austrian Airlines has unveiled a revised summer schedule that sees it add extra flights to destinations in eastern Europe and the Middle East. In total it will serve 130 destinations in 55 countries this summer.
The carrier will add seven extra flights a week to St Petersburg and four extra flights a week to Chisinau in Moldova.
Austrian also adds a weekly flight from Vienna to Amman, Jordan; Yerevan in Armenia; Sibiu in Romania and Skopje, Macedonia.
In addition, the carrier will increase services to the Slovakian city of Kosice with an extra two flights a day.
On 4 May, the carrier will launch three weekly services to Palma, while weekly flights to Palermo and the Greek island of Chios will start on 26 April and 29 May respectively. Cairo also gains an additional flight.
Frequencies to Barcelona and London Heathrow are decreased slightly, to twice a day and three-times daily, respectively.
