Israel Aerospace Industries has unveiled its most advanced payload for small unmanned air vehicles, Shaul Shahar.

MiniPop-D is a single line replacement unit, stabilized targeting payload. IAI says it offers the best performance in its class. It includes all of the features of the MiniPop, with the additional capabilities of target designation and range finding, using a new miniature dual wavelength laser.

IAI says the MiniPop-D offers high power, low divergence and high-duty cycle laser designation with eye-safe range-finding mode, and is compatible with US and NATO laser guided munitions, including Hellfire missiles.
