Operating lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has appointed Denis Kalscheur as chief executive, effective 1 January 2013.
Kalscheur will succeed Stephen Hannahs, an ACG founder, who is due to retire by the end of 2012.
Hannahs will continue to serve the company as a vice-chairman, providing advice to the chairman and chief executive regarding strategic direction and other matters.
ACG says that Kalscheur has served its parent company Pacific Life in various roles, being responsible for corporate finance and treasury operations, investment products business, financial planning and budgeting, and other strategic initiatives.
Kalscheur's experience in the aviation industry includes his roles as the chief executive of Elsinore Aerospace, and chief financial officer of AirCal.
